We know that our customers love making each piece of Case Study Furniture their own. That’s why we’re adding yet another option to choose from when ordering a Fiberglass Shell Chair from Modernica – powder-coated colors for chair bases.

Since the paint is applied using a powder-coat technique, you can rest assured that the color is consistent and incredibly long-lasting. For now, the colors we have available are white, yellow, orange, red, and black. To get a better feel for how the colored bases look in comparison to the originals, drop by our Los Angeles Showroom.

For over a half a century with their signature color glazes and organic volcanic ceramic finish, Stan Bitters’s birdhouses have continued to delight and add an undefinable, primal charm to one’s garden.

Each birdhouse is hand-thrown, hand-glazed, and fired in Stan Bitters’s studio in Fresno, California. Like a thumbprint, no two birdhouses are the same.When you purchase a Stan Bitters birdhouse you are purchasing a piece of art from a living master of California ceramic history.

Designed by Scott Nadeau and Modernica Studio in 2012, the Case Study Stainless Floating Marble Tables are a sophisticated addition to the Case Study Stainless series. The main feature of the table’s design is a 3/4″ white Carrera marble slab. The marble slab suspends effortlessly upon brushed stainless steel legs. It is this juxtaposition between the heaviness of the marble and the lightness of the design that makes it so visually compelling.

The very popular Prince Charles Chair was created by Peter Shire and Modernica Studio. The chair was introduced in February 2009 as apart of Modernica’s 20th anniversary events.

Artist Peter Shire was born in Los Angeles in 1947 and raised in Echo Park. He received his training in ceramics at the Chouinard Institute in Los Angeles. In 1972 Peter Shire established a studio of his own. His work has elements of irony and humor, and references to historical and popular culture. All of which provide additional layers of meaning to his work as well as their visual appeal and beauty.
