Consider this, below I pasted a typical ad featuring some outdoor furniture of the same period. Van Keppel & Green’s outdoor furniture design was truly groundbreaking, decades ahead of their time. The simple tubular steel frame pieces look as fresh today, as possibly they appeared odd in 1946. The three colors originally offered were white, black and grapefruit yellow.
