As a part of Dwell on Design weekend of events, the convention will be highlighting exceptional films that celebrate and explore modern design. The Dwell Screening Lounge is sponsored by Design Onscreen and the Stephanie Odegard Collection.
The four films which will be shown at this special event, are as follows:
- Modern Tide: Midcentury Architecture on Long Island (2012, Director Jake Gorst, 86 minutes)
- Desert Utopia: Midcentury Architecture in Palm Springs (2010, Director Jake Gorst, 58 minutes)
- Contemporary Days: The Designs of Lucienne and Robin Day (2010, Murray Grigor, 77 minutes)
- Hella Jongerius: Contemporary Archetypes (2009, Amie Knox, 30 minutes)
DVDs of the films will be at the Dwell on Design bookstore, operated by Skylight Books.
