Its that time of year again, where cactus and garden enthusiasts need to go the Huntington Library admire, peruse and purchase rare cacti and succulents from their annual event.  Hundreds of award-winning plants will be on view as the Cactus and Succulent Society of America presents its annual show and sale, featuring rare specimens native to Chile, Argentina, Botswana, Madagascar, and the Middle East.  I’ll be there for their early bird plant sale on Friday from noon-4:30pm and did I mention its free.

Friends’ Hall:

June 26–27 (Sat.–Sun.)

10:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

The Huntington Library and Gardens are located in San Marino which is adjacent to Pasadena in Los Angeles. If you are visiting L.A., add it to one your places to visit, especially if you love gardens.
