South Kosova may not be the first place in mind when you’re considering a holiday but the Buqalla Pools and Hotel near Suhareka may be a unique contender with its architecture and pools surrounded by a breathtaking landscape. Designed by Gezim Pacarizi, the project won him the World Architecture Awards.  With little access to skilled workers, it took Pacarizi five years to complete pools with bridges and terraces linking different areas.  The contemporary swimming complex has easy access to the forest nearby.
