Some of you may already know we had our first DIY Design Contest last month and we received some fabulous entries. We admired the renovations we saw from one couple from the very beginning. The winners, Alexandra Becket and Greg Steinberg, made an impressive transformation of their dining area and kitchen. Greg likes Tiki Modern and Alexandra prefers Mid-Century. Using each aesthetic, the two redesigned their entire home and are now making a career out of the skills they honed with their own projects.

Known for her striking textile design, Alexandra creates one of a kind designs for fashion, interiors and her fiance Greg started a company rehabbing homes called ModOp Designs. The two are collaborating on design and just finished a house in Silver Lake together. They sent us some recent pictures of their Los Angeles home and the Case Study Unit they chose as their prize.
