Celebrity Designer Asks For $11 Million, Sells For $8.3

The asking price for this Beverly Hills 1927 Mediterranean estate was almost $11 million back in January. Celebrity designer Waldo Fernandez accepted $8.3 for his five-bedroom, seven-bath home made for entertaining. Starting his career in the 1960′s as a set designer for “Doctor Dolittle” and “Planet of the Apes, ” Fernandez has come a long way working with mega stars like Elizabeth Taylor, Sean Connery and Jennifer Aniston.

The 7,200 square foot home was completely revamped with high ceilings, gourmet kitchen. This last photo is from another one of his projects but we like how playful his work can be.
