Inside Modernica’s VIP Pre-Sale Gala

Here’s a peek behind the scenes of Modernica’s Insider’s Gala, which took place Thursday, May 16 – two days before our Factory Sale. Attendees got first look and first-pick on many of the products that were included in the sale, as well as drinks, music, and a chance to meet and greet with Modernica’s founders. Have Your Cake and Eat it too at the Factory Sale this Saturday!

As if there weren’t enough reasons to attend our Factory Sale this Saturday, we’ve searched out some of the best “mobile restaurants” in Los Angeles! Here are some of the delicious options you’ll have for eating as you spend the day shopping:

Deano’s Deli

Modernica Event Food Trucks

Deano’s Deli is an east-coast style deli on wheels. Deano’s provides made-to-order hoagies and an array of fresh sides.

According to customer reviews, “Deano’s Deli sandwiches are amazingly delicious.  We get food trucks coming to my work every day, but I tend to skip out on most of them.  But the one food truck I never skip out on is Deano’s Deli.  Their Italian sub reminds me a little bit of the subs I would get at my neighborhood deli back in NJ before I moved here to LA.  I highly recommend you check out their sandwiches.”

India Jones

Chow Truck Modernica Factory Sale

India Jones is a gourmet Indian street food truck serving up “frankies” and curry in LA & the west side. See what customers are saying about India Jones:

“I LOVE Indian food and there aren’t enough good Indian restaurants in my neck of the woods. I was just a few months fresh off a whirlwind trip to India and I had started feening something serious for quality Indian grub when I finally caught this truck. They delivered in spades.”

“Frankie was DELICIOUS. Flavorful, tender, easy to eat, and the curry had a nice spicy kick. The garlic nan was good but I’ll absolutely seek it out for the frankie whenever I see the truck next!”

Sweet Lucie’s

Modernica Sale Ice Cream Truck

We’d like to introduce you to the original, vintage ice cream truck of Los Angeles. The 1959 truck has been owned and operated in Los Angeles, CA as a functioning ice cream truck for over 20 years. Sweet Lucie’s serves handmade, super premium, old-fashioned ice cream and sorbets. They make all ice cream and sorbets in small batches with the finest USDA-organic-certified ingredients. Sweet Lucie’s is the first and only USDA-organic-certified ice cream in Southern California.
