Soon to be available for your budding mid-century modernist child will be the Eames House Blocks. House Industries has created a 36 Alphabet block set. The block set can be configured to build the Case Study No. 8 house and it’s studio. Twenty blocks to build the house and sixteen blocks to build the studio. The blocks also have the classic alphabet for teaching your child to spell important words such as cat, dog and molded plywood.

The handmade blocks are made of Michigan-grown basswood. The printed blocks were created with non-toxic, child-safe inks with an amazing 29 separate hand-pulled screens. A stylish and refined toy to introduce to your child the joys of clean lines and good taste.

The Eames House Blocks will be available for sale May 1, 2010. Each set will be $150.
