Archtober (ärk’tôbər), New York City’s annual Architecture and Design Month, is now in its second year!  The festival of architecture activities, programs, and exhibitions will take place from October 1-31, 2012. Click on the image below to download a PDF of a full calendar of events.

Archtober’s curated calendar features more than 180 architecture and design lectures, conferences, programs, and exhibitions. The popular “Building of the Day” series is reprised for 2012. Architects and other design professionals will lead the free noontime tours, which include contemporary buildings and historic sites, a new addition for 2012.

Many events are free; individual pricing and ticketing information is available on each organization’s website. Printed guides will be distributed at the Archtober Visitor Lounge at the Center for Architecture and participating institutions during the festival. The month’s full program and tour schedule is available at www.archtober.org and will be continuously updated as new programs are announced.
