Sadly, Charles Eames solar-powered sun toy is forever lost… So this brief footage is all we have left. To see a modern version of Charles Eames solar toy vision, check out these pieces by Mexico City-based artist Edgar Orlaineta. Orlaineta produced new versions of Eames toy applying the traditional Mexican craft of Hojalateria (artistic tinware) to recycled aluminum cans. A beautiful homage to Charles Eames’ original project.
