This little animation was created by compiling a series of photographs and animating them through Photoshop. (This was my first attempt at animation for the blog. I think it turned out cute.) As you can see, George Nelson’s lamp design playfully transforms a cylinder, rod, and discus into a work of art. It utilizes a pivoting shade making it both adjustable left and right, and up and down—giving the lamp the ability to direct light in all directions.
