5th Annual “Street of Eames” Home Tour

2010 March 3

Each April, the city of Portland, Oregon hosts the Street of Eames modern home tour. This citywide event recognizes the city’s best examples of mid-century modern and contemporary residential architecture.

This self-guided event gets you into eight of the city’s top new and mid century houses built between 1949 and 2010.  These are all private residences, so it’s likely your only chance to ever visit them. See the photos to take a peek at the some of the homes that you will be visiting.

All ticket proceeds go to after-school programs for homeless & low-income kids at Chapman Elementary in Northwest and Beach Elementary in North Portland.  Last year they raised around $123,000 with 100% going to the program.

Planning on being in Portland, Oregon on April 17, 2010, buy your tickets now. This event sells out early.
