AFTER

A fresh coat of colorful paint, new flooring and fantastic furniture, including our Case Study Daybed, are the elements that changed this room from dreary to inspired. Taking a risk with bold colors on the walls and floor pulled this room together and really gave it some personality. (see before)

BEFORE

Another DIY Design entry demonstrated how changing just one wall can make all the difference in a room. The previous owners hated this big textured wall and attempted to hide it by painting it with several different coats of paint. The only option was to remove the drywall and install new ones. The idea to cover the wall with big 4′ x 8′ birch panels was not only a more intelligent decision but also, a low budget one.
